Where is the video of this show?
I (found &) have the next two nights on video.
I would guess this night must be on video also.
I can't believe whoever shot the videos did not once pan out to capture the whole Berkeley backdrop ...
I was there in Berkeley for these shows ... even in for the last night. I have always thought this was the best of the 3 nights.

Its 1989 folks, come on, most shows thateyar were short tame, pale, boring, and dont tell me how hot fall tour was, those "jams" were so short and dod little. Yes I enjoyed Hampton, it was one of my home base venues and never missed a show there from '83-'89.
Anyway I was at the Greek '85-'89, the third day of this run had some moments, but that's all we really got in '89. Don't get me wrong I loved the fact they stayed on the road as long as they did, and they still had flashes of brilliance, even some real solid shows until Brent died, but the Touch heads and the lame scene was too much for me to handle. (Nitrous, narcs, hassles vending, stadiums, more Touch heads, etc.) After summer '86 the Dead scene was gone forever. That was Dylan/Petty, start of stadiums, the next thing you know they have a hit dingle and are on MTV (!) and that was all she wrote. Excellent transfer as always, us early/mid-'80's heads love CM's work.

Maybe. Or does this lean a bit more toward- the boys just killing it at the best venue ever? You decide... and yea.. picture yourself high, standing in front of Phil for the Sugaree, then saying-"mediocre". I'm thinking that some reviewers were NOT at this show. I'm also thinking that some are missing the quality of the recording.

Grate show. Grate remaster by C miller. Deadheads love hot live bands so do yourselves a favor and check out Ekoostik Hookah. Start with 6-30-07.

This is a really moving (pace-wise) show. Great Sugaree and Jack-a-roe. Very nice transfer again by Mr. Miller.
